Mercy is the mark of a great man. Guess I'm just a good man. Well, I'm all right.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

The after show hosted by Wil Wheaton is worth it if only for pointing out some of the call backs.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

Alternate Original Series, -t.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

The reboot movies, which changed the timeline, blew up Vulcan, you know, that kind of thing. The Romulan supernova came from there, before they screwed with the timelime. Barry Allen has nothing on J.J. Abrams.

Ahhh, thanks! The name makes total sense now that I know it.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

I follow him on Facebook and he seems genuinely excited to be involved with something related to Star Trek again.

ETA: His episode of Tabletop with Jeri Ryan as a guest where they're talking about their mutual experiences while playing a board game is a lot of fun, too. [link]

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

JJ Abrams is on the list right behind Donald Trump, in my world.

"Old TV Star Trek was too intellectual, it wanted people to think too much. I want to make a Star Trek that's *fun.* (for, presumably, the brain-dead)

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The first one definitely felt like it was made with sufferers of ADHD in mind. It was like watching this, only two hours long.

Ah yes, I see the similarities.
