I just re-read it earlier this month in preparation.
Me, too. Binge day tomorrow.
Ooooo, what good timing for my free 30-day Prime Trial!
That's going to be a family watch for us, so I have to wait until Sunday at the earliest.
And there's my weekend.
Okay, David Tennant was born to play Mary Poppins.
So Tennant keeps reminding me of my first serious boyfriend as Crowley. He never has before but something about his hair and his build and his sunglasses as me thinking of Chris. Who loved Neil Gaiman btw and was my intro to things like MST3K, Kate Bush, Tori Amos and Red Dwarf.
Not that Chris's hair was that long but it was fluffy and kinda curly.
I've only watched the first episode. I'm enjoying it so far. Matthew hasn't read the book so this is all new to him. It's fun to see his reaction to the story.
My first serious boyfriend looked like Charles Manson. Cheekbones for days and intense eyes. This seems like a better association.
Tenant seems to have modeled his Crowley very closely on the British rocker Jarvis Cocker (of Pulp).
