Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Jen, that's one of my favorite moments in the series. And yes to the next episode ahaahahaha.

Riley - Icelandic DJ in London
Lito - Spanish actor in Mexico City

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

So Sense8 is a reboot of Leverage? Only with telepathy instead of magic earpieces?

It's sort of like Psychic Global Frequency.

P-C, that's great description. Will, Riley, and Lito were the names I couldn't remember. Well, and I guess I think of Capheus as Van Damme.

I loved Sun and Capheus' meeting in the street(s) in this ep, too.

The friends, partners, and family characters are engaging, too.

It's kind of interesting to me that I'm this far in and I don't really know much how or why, but that's not interfering with my enjoyment .

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I can see I'm going to have to start marathoning on the weekends; that show sounds like fun.

It strikes me as interesting that we have two activists, two sensitives, two optimists and two hitters.

The hitters could also be considered pessimists.

They put me in mind of the major arcana of a tarot deck.

Given that everything the Wachowski's do is fraught with deeper meaning...kind of like my own view of the world...I'm curious to see how the deck plays out.

The friends, partners, and family characters are engaging, too.

This is one of the things I love best about it!

I'm going back now to look for the details of their participation. Even the ones that mess up really badly are inherently good.

The only thing I'm still confused about is the role of Daryl Hannah's character, and her counterpart, the "Cassandra-esque" (?) scary lady .

Oh! And, was the trigger for the Sensates to know of each other, Daryl's death? That seems like an inefficient origin story .

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Sense8 = Sensate. Now I get it.

am old

bonny fides, yes to your last question. And ooh on the tarot, huh!

Yes! Every character's world has things to like about it.

So much fun, Sail.

Tarot tie-in -- interesting!

They really did create stories to get you into each person's world. All eight! I mean 8. Impressive.

Rewatching all the birth scenes in episode 10 was lovely and bittersweet. In each, the overarching value of each character is present . The only thing missing was an actual Van Damme movie playing in Kenya .

It is making me wonder if there aren't tons of connections I haven't seen yet. Then again, I could be seriously over-thinking it.

Also, Rajan is the biggest woobie who ever woobed. Not to mention being gorg-e-ous.
