Tom, I'm cautiously eager for Letterman's new show too. I was at the Late Show during filming once when he was host, and he was kind of a dick off camera. Doesn't mean he's a bad person, maybe he was having a rough day, but I've been less enthusiastic about him since then.
Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

Yay! I bounced off the first ep a little bit (I think it was just a little too much OH MY GOD THESE PEOPLE), but when I went back I ended up bingeing the entire season in one sitting.
