This may have been the wrong week to catch up on The Man in the High Castke. Or the best possible week. Hard to say.
In any case, the second season lost me - I think this adaptation has some premises I just can't buy into. And spending so much time with the Nazis is, imho, a mistake. If they want to just give me the Trade Minister's story forever and ever in whatever universe, though, I am in.
I have neither the desire nor the time to watch Iron Fist, but this review from Vulture made me snorfle: [link]
Danny can't sleep in beds because they're too soft; he prefers the floor. He never wears shoes. If you are reading this, there is an excellent chance that you either dated this guy or he owes you money. Maybe both.
Heh.
Ok, don't laugh, but I have become OBSESSED with Red vs Blue.
ok, you can laugh.
Oh no, Red vs. Blue is brilliant. It takes a while to get going but it's obsess worthy.
Anyone watch the pilot for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon? It's Amy Sherman Palladino's new show, and I thought it was pretty fabulous.
Trailer for The Handmaid's Tale, set to premiere on Hulu on April 26th: [link]
I was iffy on the 1990's film adaptation with Natasha Richardson. This one looks great. And terrifying.
I'm watching Trollhunters on Netflix and I have finally finally gotten to the episode where his mother asks, "Have you tried not being a slayer?" YAY.
The show is enjoyable, with some fun characters, but man, it needs better female representation. There is NO REASON for all the fighty trolls to be male. None at all.
There is no way I can watch a Handmaid's Tale adaptation right now.
