Somebody probably talked about this once, but the Danny Strong that worked on "Dopesick"(Adapting it, I should say) was once the actor who played Jonathan on Buffy, right? I mean, I thought there could be two.

One and the same. The dude has won more Emmy awards for writing than Joss has, plus a whole bunch of WGA awards.
I love seeing his name on stuff and am unduly proud about his awards
He did a great job. Michael Keaton deserved his award, too. (Not that I thought he wouldn't, but he absolutely played a part where I never thought about his wackier personas once, which is pretty amazing, given that I grew up during Peak Wacky Michael Keaton and tend to think of him as, idk, Better Jim Belushi or something.) I'm surprised I could watch a film about that investigation twice--Netflix had one, too, with Matthew Broderick playing the Sackler part and Crazy Eyes from Orange Is The New Black as the female investigator--I thought they were good, but that the Hulu version might be better overall. Not quite Jonathan taking over the world, but close, adaptation-wise.
