Why is Netflix doing this "half a season at a time" thing with all their shows now? It makes no sense -- you lose out on being able to discuss the show between each episode, because people are watching at different rates, and also the time between the two parts is so long that people who binge-watch the first part lose interest by the time the second part comes out.

Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.
The only thing I can think of is it forces people to stay subscribed longer in order to see the whole thing (though going weekly would likely serve the same purpose so I'm not sure.)
