I think Poker Face using the first three episodes of the season to wrap up in a tidy package and dispose of that whole on-the-run-from-the-mob business is pretty smart. Not that there was a problem with it in season 1, but moving on now seems like a good idea

I'm really enjoying the adaptation so far, even if I was skeptical of the initial MB casting. We're watching as a family - Dylan and I have read the books, Aeryn and Ethan have not. One thing Dylan and I are both noticing is that the books are so focused on vibes/character that neither of us have ever cared about following the plot before, which is kind of wild when you think about it.

I am so happy with it so far! Very interested to hear about A and E's reaction to watching it cold, I have been trying to imagine what that might be like and I really just can't.
I remember way less about the plot (especially this early) than the characters, though, for sure.
And I kinda feel like I want to watch all three episodes again to get the rest of my thoughts in order

Best reviewed season and was second only to Reacher for Prime originals in the time period, but cancelled for "budget" reasons. Probably Amazon overpaying for Rings of Power bringing everything else down (and since that's Bezo's baby they're not going to cancel it.)
And of course the chuds who cried about it being "too woke" are celebrating.

Loving Murderbot and drawing sparkle hearts around it. The episodes are too short, and I think they will reward a rewatch when it's all done.
One thing I'm liking is that the PresAux crew are fully fleshed out, more so than the book showed. Gurathin is totally right to distrust SecUnits, and Murderbot in particular, especially because he alone of the crew knows enough about them.
