My issues with the show were mainly that
1) Noah is so keen to become wunderkind head rabbi of a congregation that includes his parents and domineering sister-in-law, who are clearly not going to respect him enough to take guidance in matters spiritual or communal and will undermine him at every turn, and
2) Noah took a girlfriend he was trying to hide to a camp where he was known as "Hot Rabbi," thus ensuring that gossip about it would travel back to his congregation at the speed of light.
Bell and Brody do have great chemistry though.
My favorite comment I read about the show — on Tumblr, of course — was "I haven’t shipped straight white people this hard in a long time."
HA. There is definitely a loophole for 00's Xennial nostalgia working in their favor on that.

That is the damn truth.
Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld is more or less a Buffy clone. I wanted to like it more than I did. The early episodes at least have too much cringe humor, and not enough ass-kicking.
I am enjoying Black Doves, even though the plot is absurd almost to the point of camp. (Also, episode 4 LDBed me!) Keira Knightley especially is playing it straight enough to make it all work.
Is anyone watching Cross? I kinda want to for Aldis Hodge but James Patterson really isn’t my cup of tea
We watched it. Aldis Hodge is great. The show is meh.
Ah well. I’ll keep it in reserve in case I’m in the mood for that.
I've been watching Homicide: Life on the streets from the beginning. not watching anything else. I'm in the 6th Season with all the cast changes.
Both Falsone and Kellerman are such jerks. I don't remember being this annoyed since watching the original broadcast.
Losing Melissa Leo's character really makes this 6th season harder to watch.
