Just finished Umbrella Academy. I agree that it's a fitting end but not entirely satisfying. I think I will consider it an AU ending.
Though honestly, I think I liked the versions of these characters from S1 better than any subsequent season.
Oh, at first it was confusing. Just the idea of computers was like — whoa! I'm eleven hundred years old! I had trouble adjusting to the idea of Lutherans.

Hm, I would need to rewatch the whole thing to decide that. Which I kinda want to do anyway. But I loved season 2 the most, I think? Which may or may not mean I prefer those versions of the characters. Hmm.
