Yes. Chopper tried to
kill Ezra at least twice
on Rebels and unless I'm misremembering the final seasons never had any semblance of
affection for him. The only person he didn't seem to actively dislike was
Hera.
I think that a better scene would have been
Ezra stepping off the shuttle without his helmet and while everyone is in shock about him being back Chopper rolls up and does something mean to him.
I mean, I guess maybe the concern was we haven't seen enough of
Chopper's attitude
in the show and people not familiar with Rebels would be confused by his actions.
I'm also annoyed with Sabine
having full blown Force powers.
I think her simply
embodying the Jedi way and maybe having some "soft" powers like intuition and enhanced reflexes like Chirrut from Rogue One
would have been way more appropriate.
Holy shit, that was Claudia Black as the Dathomir Great Mother on Ahsoka.
I am a crack shot with identifying voices, but I would never have gotten there on my own with this one!
I sure loved that show when it was airing and haven't seen it since. Kind of afraid to rewatch at this point.
100% my immediate thought. I _loooved_ that show and am deeply concerned that the sexism will take me out.
I pursued a copy of the book that had the biggest impact on my life...for FIFTY years. I finally got it and ended crying and tossing it in the trash. I could not even give it away. OY. The sexism, racism, ableism, younameitism just made me so sad.
So, I might just cherish my Moonlighting memories for their historical value.
I have been avoiding it, because I just want to hear what JZ thinks, but this was a week of OFMD on streaming. I cried a lot, both with the show, and not being able to hear her reactions. There are so many more women!

Oh, she would have loved that.
She spent a lot of time thinking about Stede's wife and Spanish Jackie.
Our nephew talked us into watching the live-action One Piece on Netflix, and it's honestly extremely entertaining.
OH MY CALYPSO'S BIRTHDAY!!! OFMD is sooooooooooooooo fantastic.

Better than the live action Cowboy Bebop. And I think, better even than the anime. Mostly because I don't especially love the early seasons of the OP anime.
I tried watching One Piece when it first aired on Toonami and I just couldn't get into it. I really didn't like the art style and nothing else on offer from it was enough to overcome that.
The One Piece anime made Drag-On Ball Z look like a paragon of efficient, taught storytelling.
Oh yeah, I have no desire to watch the One Piece anime or read the manga. But I was surprised at how much I ended up enjoying the live-action One Piece. And I especially loved the set design.
And, in keeping with the pirate theme, we started watching OFMD (as in, season 1) earlier this week. I've already seen tons and tons of posts about it, and so many GIFs, so I'm 100% spoiled. And yet, the one thing I was surprised by was Izzy Hands' voice. I expected it to be deeper and louder. (Also, Taika Waititi is so fucking pretty.)
I've been rewatching OFMD S1 with Aeryn and remains, as ever, a complete fucking delight. I'm so happy she's enjoying it. (And I can't wait to get caught up to S2.)
