The whole thing with Roy and Jamie was amazing.
I laughed SO HARD. Something that this show does so well is hit the beats perfectly.
Lockwood & Co I have finished Book 1, watched a few minutes of the first episode and then looked at some of the summaries of the rest of the season and realized I want to read the next book before getting into the show so now I'm doing that. But I like what I have gotten to so far in both media!
Ted Lasso I'm not sure how I feel about this week's episode. Other than I heart Keeley and Keeley and Rebecca's relationship. Mostly I keep thinking it's really weird that Jack wants Keeley to follow her lawyer's advice about what is surely a PR problem when PR is Keeley's business and core competency. Although maybe that is the point?
Damn you wee PMM! I have finished the L&Co books and while the level of resolved-ness is pretty appropriate, really, I am kind of flailing around at how open things are left. Partly because of the not really a framing story but implications that there is a framing story bits that are sprinkled here and there - I always have mixed feelings about those. I even went and looked for fic but there is a fuckload and I can't handle wading into all that.
Anyway, also happy with the show. Noticed a couple of changes I'm not happy with but may turn out okay.

Hee! I went Show to Books and love them both, sometimes for the same reasons, sometimes for different reasons.
What kind of fic are you looking for, says the person who has been mainlining it since February and might have some actual recs (honestly, it does need more plotty gen, but also, this fandom on April 1 blessed us with 11k of crack-treated-seriously Kipps/Skull that went straight into my Kindle after reading. so it has its charms).
I don’t even know! I would like to know more about Gravedigger Sykes and the early days of The Problem in general, and further romantic progress for all the canonical couples, and how does everyone cope with aging out of their talents and and and etc.
I tell you what, I so appreciate that they stick to ghosts and don’t get all sidetracked into werewolves or vampires or fairies or anything.
Good Omens season 2 drops on July 28! Also Heartstopper season 2 drops August 3! Also — I think — the movie of Red, White, & Royal Blue drops in August on Amazon Prime Video. Basically it's going to be a really queer summer, and I am all for it.
I don't know how queer it will be but the new Wes Anderson movie is coming out this summer and it looks fab. I mean they all look fab, but I'm intrigued by the premise and story too.
the new Wes Anderson movie
Tim flipped for the trailer and can't wait to see it.
