That's got to be a big factor, right? My gut feeling is that the Hemsworth will step up and do well and it'll be fine but mostly that is all so far in the future it's not worth thinking about. I'm still trying to avoid having preconceived notions about Blood Origins!

I could see if there was some creative differences and the change with WB that Cavil would bow out. Even if there aren't writers who think the source material is horrible if it's just unhappiness with the way the show as going or whatever.

The news had me scratching my head. It felt like if Christopher Lee was invited to play Saruman again (even from the grave) and was all, "Nah."

I found out that he was also injured during the filming of season 2 (it apparently was in the news and I missed it) so that might have played into his decision as well.

I was underwhelmed by S2, so I’m in shrug and see what happens mode.
I've never been able to follow even a little bit of the plot, and now that the main eye candy is leaving I don't have a reason to keep watching, so, oh well, I guess.

I don't think Liam Hemsworth represents that much of a step down in terms of eye candy, but I will be very surprised if he can match the enthusiasm for the material that Henry Cavill brought.

Cavill's last season won't be shown until next summer, I think, so don't bail out too fast!
I really want to see the final fight ( Geralt and Ciri side by side down the staircase which I guess isn't really the final fight as such, but it's the final confrontation of that particular long arc ) so I will probably hang on until that should be happening whatever changes happen
