Andor is the best new show on TV right now. It’s the best I’ve seen in several years. It’s a completely different thing than other Star Wars, and it’s REALLY GOOD.

My friend Rio was saying the same thing.
It's been a bit of a slow build for me, but it's sucking me in
ANDOR is so good. I haven't seen tonight's yet, since I'm going to the gym in a few minutes. But afterwards I will make myself a cocktail and watch.
I'm still cranky that Amazon had half a billion dollars for RoP and they're showing something that's not even 1/4 as good.
I like the portrayal of the Empire in Andor a lot. Well, appreciate is maybe a better word - I like seeing it

Well. It looks like I'm going to have to go in on Andor now.
These days, if it does not involve the Mand-gu show, I can't be fussed with SW, but I do like good tv, wherever it comes from.
Andor is so good, and apparently it's pulling lower numbers than any of the other Disney+ SW stuff, because it's not all pew-pew and space wizards. Instead it feels like a WWII spy thriller, all dense characterization and atmosphere.
Anyone watching Andor might enjoy the podcast A More Civilized Age: they have paused in their Clone Wars rewatch to switch over to Andor, and they're all much happier about it.
Holy crap I have so many thoughts about Andor. But I'll just share Maarva's take: It's overdue, and probably doomed, and I'm too old, and I don't care anymore.
SO. FUCKING. GOOD.
"That's just love. There's nothing you can do about that."
This show is just so BEAUTIFUL. Beautiful looking, beautiful writing, beautiful acting. Even when it leans into the 1970s Star Wars aesthetic, it's beautifully ugly.
