I just heard about First Kill coming soon to Netflix and it sounds like something we will want to discuss.

OB1: Did they not bother to use their de-aging effects on Hayden Christensen or did they just do a terrible job? Obi-Wan looked great in that scene but Anakin The 40 Year-Old Padawan was not working for me.

Kalshane: My understanding is that there was none used on the performers. Your observation seems to be a fairly common one.
Also, I have not been able to watch a lot of this series because of the violence towards children, on-screen and implied; I will be very happy when someone makes a supercut of this particular scene so's I can enjoy the fight choreography without having to use the Magic Skippy Button while peering through my fingers to get to each bit.

My sister, son & GF are joining me tonight for Umbrella Academy! Son is bringing pizza. We all re-watched the past month or so in preparation. I was shocked at how much I had forgotten. I was good and didn't watch before the gang gets here.

OB1: All in all I thought the series was okay but I don't know that it told a story that actually needed to be told. There were definitely elements I loved, but it doesn't really give us any greater understanding of the characters involved.
I'm also kind of annoyed that they pretty much directly stole the Vader's mask gets cut open during a fight with his former master/apprentice and said person tries to connect with Anakin only for Vader to ultimately assert that Anakin is dead from Rebels.
