Yeah, I could do that, but I'm paralyzed with not caring very much.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Er, only with parental supervision, since there are a few sex scenes (hell, it BEGINS with a sex scene). No nudity but definite fucking. Though honestly I don't think she'd like it, it's a more mature comedy than Haverfordian antics.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm not sure. It's kinda like reading Bitches - there's nothing, like, bad but it is adult content and not trying not to be. Sexual relationships are important parts of the story, and the dialog is casually blue most of the time. If you watch the first 5-10 minutes of the first episode you'll probably be able to judge the appropriateness.

It's a coming of age story, though the age is 30. IDK, that seemed like a helpful thought but I don't know where to go with it.

That's a great description.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I would say no to Master of none for Matilda. Not just for the sex but for adult ideas and situations.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Aw, she'll be disappointed. But thanks. Just another thing for her to add to her list of resentments that we don't understand just how nearly-grown-up she is and treat her like a baby, bless her pre-tween heart.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Hi, streaming thread. I'm watching The Man in the High Castle. Overall good, although many of the characters are too stupid to survive 10 eps. Anyone bugged by the shortening of the opening song, or am I just that special?

Not bugged by the shortening of the opening song. Would not have known if you didn't say it. It's certainly an interesting choice.

I'm only in the second episode but I'm finding it very compelling. I do love me some PKD, and it's probably to the good that I don't actually remember what happens in the book in any detail.

Also, I hate it when title songs go on too long. Possibly my primary complaint about Alan Ball. And so I am unlikely to find fault with a song being shortened in the title sequence.

Also, also, would not have recognized Burn Gorman if I hadn't looked up his character to find out who played him.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Baz Luhrman has a new show on Netflix coming up called The Get Down, and holy shit, it looks amazing: [link]

When the song came in at 1:30 mark, I legit got goosebumps.
