I've never seen Giamatti in an unpunchable role either, so odds aren't looking good.

I think that Paul Giamatti is pretty good at being punchabke, but in my head he is just like my geeky friend Phil.
We watched Jungle Cruise last night and can report that Giamatti is *extremely* punchable in this role.
(The movie itself is kind of aggressively fine, in the style of Disney live action family movies from the 80s. It's not trying too hard to be hip and modern, which was a nice change.)
Rule of Thumb: if you have to try to be hip and modern, you aren't ... and won't be.
I don’t remember wanting to punch John Adams in the face, but I can’t rule it out
That's a bold character choice when playing one of our most canonically punchable founding Fathers.

Does anyone else watch Outer Banks? I just mainlined this new season, and I really can’t figure out why I love it, because I think it might be objectively terrible and I don’t know who it is made for, perhaps only me. But it really seems well made and well acted, and it keeps me on my toes, even though time is sort of wonky and everything is completely improbable. I saw it called The OC meets The Goonies, but it is almost more like The Outsiders, meets the OC, meets the Goonies, meets Dawson Creek,, meets Veronica Mars, meets Roswell, meets Shameless, meets The Fast and the Furious franchise. With good music that is always titled in the subtitles. So where do I talk about this?
Haven't heard of it. What network/source?
It is on Netflix. There are two seasons, and season two just dropped. It is a teen drama with class issues, that is also treasure hunting and has some terrible evil parents (and two teens’ of parents I really feel sorry for).
