I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Gaiman's blog post about it is charming and makes me feel pretty good about the whole thing: [link]

Our wings are not tired.

I am officially excited. I forwarded the blog link to my son who is a huge fan as well.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Why did none of you people tell me that John Finnemore is co-writing GO2?

I am...cautiously optimistic?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm looking forward to GO2. Even if it's just half as good as GO1, it'll still be better than a number of things I could put in front of my eyes.

What is even happening?

I am both happy and distressed that there will be a second season of Good Omens. The first season was utterly delightful, so part of me thinks, "Yes! More of that, please!"

But also, the first season was utterly delightful, so maybe just let it stand. It is okay for things to end.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I'm ambivalent. I love Gaiman's writing in general, and of course he was the one who shepherded the whole project to TV. But my feeling is that Pratchett was the one with the touch for whimsy that gave Good Omens much of its charm, and I worry about the tone of new material absent his contribution.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Leverage: Redemption starts Friday on IMDB TV. That counts as streaming, right? So we’ll discuss it here?

Sounds right. Woohoo!

I honestly had to pause the first episode because I was laughing too hard at Nate's grave. That's such a huge fuck you to Timothy Hutton.

Also, because it bears repeating, Aldis Hodge is unreasonably attractive.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Leverage

Ep. 1 down.

I enjoyed that very much.
