"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Whoa! You weren't kidding. It's like a non-stop stream of Accidentally Wes Anderson's Instagram account. What a cast though!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Whoever was casting this based on the intensity of my "Oh HELL no!" reaction somehow overlooked Mel Gibson and Lena Dunham.

Foundation trailer.

"From the visionary minds behind Batman Begins and Man of Steel"? No thanks. If they wind up with something that is even more drained of human empathy than Asimov's original writing, it will be quite an accomplishment, but it looks like that is what they're aiming for.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Heh. I was already not excited because I'm not into Foundation at all, but that does dial it down even further. Not sure if we are at negative 11 yet

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

I like the cast and Jane E is one of the writers, but...that trailer does not fill me with eager anticipation. (I bounced hard off the books even during the peak of my embarrassing teen I Only Read Hard Sci-Fi phase so I only barely half remember the plot. Something something bunch of old white men arguing about how the government could be governmenting better?)

Useta-could.

The Map of Tiny Perfect Things came up in my recommendations on Amazon Prime. I gave it a try.

I may be a sap, but I liked it very much. Much better than I liked Groundhog Day.

Eh. I don't know that I need to watch that. May rewatch Farscape instead.

Well, get the FUCK out: there's going to be a second season of Good Omens!!! [link]

I have such mixed feelings about the Good Omens S2 announcement, but I'm already pretty good at compartmentalizing the bits of S1 I love from the bits that were crap, so...probably it will be okay?

May rewatch Farscape instead.

Obviously I recommend this strategy.
