Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Edit: Especially horrendous now that Pedro Pascal's sister has come out as trans.

Oh! That would explain why she admitted that a conversation with him helped her understand people using pronouns up front. Still the description I saw of her most recent horrible post was enough for me.

I really liked Haywire but enough is enough. There are other kickass women actors who aren't toxic to the world (and probably their coworkers).

You've got friends to have good times with. When you need to share the trauma of a badly-written book with someone, that's when you go to family.

There are other kickass women actors who aren't toxic to the world (and probably their coworkers).

If this meant Ming-Na got more screen time, that would not make me sad.

Yes. Or Katee Sackhoff.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I saw a suggestion on Twitter that they should just replace her with Lucy Lawless and no one say anything about it.

I would be 100% on board with this.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Hell, I'd be fine with that strategy on a lot of shows. Like if JPAD gets into more drunken fight trouble, CBS' Walker, Texas Ranger reboot could actually get me to watch.

Me, too, although Lawless is in her late 40s now, I think, and probably not up for all that (unless she wants to be). That would be pretty splendid, though.

And I love Ming-Na, it's great to see her in this although they haven't given her a lot of interesting acting to do yet.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Dear heaven, Lucy Lawless is 52.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ming-Na Wen is 57!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

When DH interviewed her in 2019 she said no thank you to starring in a hypothetical Xena reboot on TV because she always hated filming action scenes, so I doubt she'd be interested, sadly.
