Oh, I loved the space battle - I thought it was one of the best choreographed I've ever seen on TV. Maybe ever on any screen.
I'm curious to see how the show will deviate from the rest of the series, given they will be compressing multiple books into a single season. (Unless they're holding out hope for "and a movie")
Damn. That was something.
I couldn’t really follow the space battle but I figure that was just me not knowing who was who. I couldn’t even remember which ship Drummer was on for sure. Pretty, in any case. Maybe when I do my next binge rewatch I’ll catch it all better. There were some other details I’m not sure I understood.
I am also really curious about what gets into next season. There’s a lot of stuff yet to happen and isn’t a whole book still coming out this year?
In any case, the whole thing was massively satisfying for me.
There are four books left in the series (three existing, one upcoming) and one season left of the show. I hope the last book is published before the last season comes out because I really don't want to be spoiled, even if there are major changes (which, obviously).
I am pretty upset about
Cas Anver turning out to be a predatory creep
because
DAMNIT, ALEX
Same, Jess.
Do we not have a date for the last book? I thought there was one but I probably made it up.
I can't find a release date for book 9, but the internet says it's coming out this year.
I looked myself and I'm pretty sure I made that up. I didn't even make up a date, I just made up the "fact" that there was a date that I couldn't remember.
Anyway, if I was making these decisions I think I might just make the next season cover the next book only rather than trying to cram everything in and actually finish. Although if I re-read maybe I would not be so keen on that, but going by my faulty memory maybe that would be ok
Is it wrong of me to imagine that there is some sort of Sci Fi spaceship pilot sudden death support group?
I really liked the season finale. I thought how they handled Alex was the best way for the character and the situation.
I'm really sad about the Belter polyfam and hope there is some sort of better resolution in the next season.
Oh, that was heartbreaking.
Amos dragging Hutch to the shuttle while she fires back at the attacking security people was so great I can't even say
