I've started watching The Expanse. I skimmed through it and i'm now going back and rewatching. I've found lately I have a hard time focusing through an entire episode of a show and so I kind of pick a character and watch their parts and read recaps and figure out what is going on and then go back and watch when there is little unknown. It's like cliffhangers are too much of the unknown for me.
I'm really liking it and there is so much detail and depth to the world. I've been watching some youtube videos about the show and I found one that was going to talk about why Amos is such a popular character but the dude in the video compared Amos to Chewbacca, which wouldn't be an issue, except he called Chewbacca a dumb animal. And I turned it off because neither are dumb animals
The Expanse came from books, and the books came from a home-brew roleplaying game and so I have to assume that S5 is when the players couldn't make it to all the sessions anymore so the DM started running solo/pair adventures.
