Well, that episode of The Mandalorian sure did have a lot of battles in it.
Also:
Disney, please learn that there are OTHER PEOPLE IN THE UNIVERSE than the fucking Skywalkers! Oy. I really didn't want that to be Luke, not just because they were going to have to do the CGI thing. But because how much fun would it have been to have Ezra kill a bunch of droids, then drop in through a panel in the ceiling?
Eh, I'm fine with that particular reveal. It's got some appealing symmetry. The
CGI was not great
but I don't mind that right now
My big reaction to this episode, though is that
I will be bawling forever
Danke
I’ve got a new toy and am not yet accustomed to its auto “corrects.” Starting a line with a lowercase letter takes a damn act of Congress.
I liked seeing
Luke kicking ass and being a Jedi for once. And I know the impending tragedy... but at least for a while he was running around getting’ down with his bad Jedi self, building a school, not just wading through endless friggin family squabbles.
I have that device, Trudy!
Personally, I am enjoying the feeling that
the whole final trilogy can just not happen like that.
I know this isn’t that kind of universe, but what if it were?
Well, Din said
he’d be seeing Grogu again,
so maybe they’ll be off on the Jedi version of summer break
when Luke’s trainees meet their fate.
That’s my theory and I’m sticking with it.
But what will happen next season? Single dad in a gig economy whose car keeps breaking down and
has sent his kid to boarding school
may not be as compelling, you know?
