What is your childhood trauma?

Cordelia ,'Lessons'

ita's thread

A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.

Our wings are not tired.

And more tears.

I am grateful that my family and friends locally all knew I was a Buffista. They all knew about me going to the F2Fs and having my on line friends visit. It is easier to not have to explain my grief.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Not surprised to see J. August's tribute. Everybody knew ita was just the shit. Teary again.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

And I wanted to make sure that those who loved her dearly saw this, from J. August.

That's lovely. Thanks for sharing.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

And I wanted to make sure that those who loved her dearly saw this, from J. August.

Oh, wow! Thanks for linking!

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

And I wanted to make sure that those who loved her dearly saw this, from J. August.

That is awesome. Thank you.

Our wings are not tired.

And then I put in a comment and noticed the column of pink gingham.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This might not be the healthiest way to deal with my grief, but if anybody is cycling back through Denial, I recommend going back and reading a thread from 2006 and voila! there are ita's words all over the place, clearly being very alive and very full of ita.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

The JAR tribute is so great.

I would be happy to contribute howeverI can from the east coast--financially, additional organizing spoons towards the book, whatever is needed. Just let me know.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm Nilly-ing and I'm drumk, (I think ita would approve of my using Red Label to swish out this bottle of Mead) but .. gads I can't even read my own handwriting.

my first memorable exchange with ita was her putting me in my place.

I agree with Theodosia. I wish I could see every ita link I skipped over. I would click on them now.

I have no idea. My notes made sense at the time. I agate w/ that? Amy pa thwwthc? Pwac c thyrtc? Guat w ymmy? Gads ita. I thought I had more time.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Allyson, no one feels capable or thinks they're the appropriate person to deal with stuff in this situation. Please take care of yourself, too.
