THIS. I talk to her sometimes. The only thing I still can't bring myself to do is read our old emails. For a while, we're emailing several times a day, daily. I just can't imagine when I'll be able to read those.

I just hate that the last time I had the opportunity to see her, when I was in LA, she wasn't feeling well. I told her that I didn't care, that I would be happy to see her for five minutes and give her a hug. She said no, and I let it go and thought I would see her next time, because I understood what it is like to know that your tribe sees you as a strong person, so you never want to be seen at less than your best, but I regret it so much.
