I don't know how much you want Moon to look exactly like ita, but it's the nose and eyes that are looking more elfin, less ita, to me. Her eyes were soft and warm. And she had freckles.

Yes, the facial features--softer and less fine-boned, I think. The grey eyes would look fabulous against a darker skin shade, too, but that's less important than softening the features, to me. And freckles would be an extra bonus.

It'd definitely "inspired by" but I think it's important to be clear that this hero is a Black woman.
The rendering might have some technical limits, but we'll see what we can do.
