Mal: How come you didn't turn on me, Jayne? Jayne: Money wasn't good enough. Mal: What happens when it is? Jayne: Well... that'll be an interesting day.

'Serenity'

ita's thread

A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Never.

Our wings are not tired

I have Timehop on my phone and when I checked it today one of the posts it pulled up had a response from Ginger on it. I may have gotten a little weepy.

Compassionately intolerant

It's shocking to me how often Ginger shows up on my screen. At least every other day. I just say hi and try not to be sad.

Yeah, I can't even remove ita's address from my Amazon delivery addresses.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

My kids' orthodontist is right by her place and I end up driving past it quite often unless I remember to anticipate it and turn down another street first. And I drive by my sister's apartment all the time, also hard.

Always Anti-fascist!

Poussey from Orange Is The New Black always makes me do that "I know her!" recognition thing.(Not that my recognizer is flawless...I have a neighbor whose chest looks like my brother's chest(Because that's what I see from the window and they like the same shirts, kind of.) But Poussey is always trying to make people be clear too, so it's more than a physical resemblance(imo) Just watched the library-book funeral...had a pang.ETA: shrift, read your post about ita's amazon and thought "damn, if you thought shipping was expensive before..." and then thought it might be rude to say, but I think maybe in a way that ita might accept, or at least, expect from me.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Serena lost which would have bummed you, but Novak just won and he holds all 4 Grand Slams. I think of you and your parents with each game I watch. Love.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

"Poussey from Orange Is The New Black always makes me do that "I know her!" recognition thing."

I did that double-take a few times in person. Awk. Ward.

And I agree the resemblance is more than looking similar. There's a sort of manner/movement/energy/whole-face-smile thing.

Yeah, while they don't exactly *match* like twins, she still reminds me of ita. Also, the character is a leader...when stuff happens, everyone waits to hear what Poussey thinks...and she's got some well-considered thoughts, too, which also reminds me of ita.(Sometimes I am like Piper, but in some ways when I post, I could be Taystee, because in some ways, I can be kind of not-thoughtful if it will make people laugh.)

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Teen Wolf's Tyler Hoechlin has been hired as Superman on Supergirl. ita would have opinions about this, and dammit I want to know what they would be.
