I can pick up Venus next. I'm ready to look at some pretty girls.
'Harm's Way'
ita's thread
A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.
Sue, that's really amazing. You're right, she'd have loved it.
Fantastic, Dana. Thank you so much!
ETA: I just want to say that it's wonderful, having someone to send pictures to again. I haven't run across many, but finding them randomly and going "right click"--oh. Just broke my heart every time. So Dana and Rebecca(you'll always be msbelle to me, Babe), thank you so much.
I want to scream and cry and hit people. But none of it brings you back.
no one can stop me now...
Diety help me, I just saw someone share a David Wolfe (whom I had to look up) "article" about ginger being more powerful than chemo.
Ugh. Thought of our Ginger and ita immediately. .
It probably beats chemo drugs as a palate cleanser and as a seasoning in pumpkin pie?
It's great in teriaki.
I've been teaching at two different colleges in CT, and one of the routes I take when traveling between them passes a little hole-in-the-wall barbeque and jerk joint. I stopped in a few weeks back for dinner. Ordered the special, and while I was waiting I took a closer look at the menu, and there it was - curried goat, and my thoughts went right to ita. And I've thought of her every time I've stopped in since.
Where are you teaching, DX? I'm in Hartford.
New Britain and Manchester. The restaurant is in East Hartford. I didn't realize you were up this way now.
I was cleaning up my Facebook friends list and I just could not unfriend ita or Ginger. I just can't.
