Saffron: You're a good man. Mal: You clearly haven't been talking to anyone else on this boat.

'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

ita's thread

A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I saw picture of Joe Manganiello that totally belonged on her men with X sites -- this is a hands one (for Steph) [link]

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

It seems it's the season for reminders. I just got an email from Big Finish, the company that puts out Doctor Who audio adventures. It was headed "Ianto Jones will return."

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I shot Orange last week and was sitting behind Samira all day. The resemblance can be disconcerting.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I tried to visit one of her provocateuse sites, and they're gone now. I may have teared up.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

She was such a giver with the provocateuse sites. It makes me wistful that we couldn't find a way to keep paying for them and keep them up. Strange to find that the internet is actually quite ephemeral.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Gone but not forgotten.

There are saved copies of provocateuse available from The Wayback Machine at the Internet Archive.

(The link is for the last time it was saved, back in March.)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

We really need to do something to preserve those. I'm willing to help.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

What do we need to do to make that happen? I would love to help but have no idea how to start.

Hey. New board.

I bet you could do it using something like HTTrack. I would be willing to host it. I can play with that later, perhaps.
