'War Stories'

ita's thread

A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Thanks, Andi. It's lovely and heartfelt.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

That's how I wanted it to be. Thanks.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Beautiful, Andi. Thank you.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Andi, it was lovely. Especially the part about still hurting. Thank you.

I'm so glad. I dithered over posting it for a few months because I did not want to make too light of anyone's grief.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I may have to seize the cat.

I had a dream last night/this morning that I logged on here and was in a TV thread, don't know which one, and there was a post from ita. She was expressing her opinion on the latest episode of something, but she opened the post with, "Yes, I can still watch this show. I know I'm not supposed to be able to, but I can." I found the whole thing immensely comforting.

I want to say, 'of course ita can watch stuff, she can see it all now.'
