I am not having sex with Spike! But I'm starting to think that you might be.

ita's thread

A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

That sounds great. With that much notice, I just might be able to juggle finances and vacation dates enough to attend. I'd definitely like to.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

K took the Krav blue belt test this weekend and she is exhausted and tired etc. One of her sparring partners is someone who originally trained with ita. He mentioned how proud he was of how K was holding up ita's legacy.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Seriously cool. I think sometimes we underestimate the ripples left behind in other's lives. Even if, 100 years from now, ita isn't mentioned in the telling anymore, there will still be people who were touched by ita and wouldn't have everything they have without her having been there.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Go K!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's terrific, Kat.

Totally this.
