Time for some thrilling heroics.

Jayne ,'The Train Job'

ita's thread

A place where we can talk about ita, miss ita, and share information about memorials. The hugging started over here in Natter.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Thank you so much, Lee.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Trudy, what do you want and I'll comment for you if Lee can't accept the request immediately.

Edit: Noted, Trudy.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sorry. I thought I had set it so people can. Request noted. All the way around

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

FYI, I don't want anything, I just liked stuff on there, because I...liked it.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm with amyth. Nothing there wants to come home to me. But it is both heartbreaking and smile-making to see those things. Thank you, Lee.

I can't figure out why people can't comment, so I will also add in requests made here.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

That was a lovely obituary. Thanks for all the effort that went into writing it.

Also, thanks to Lee for taking the time to post pictures for us.

I left a comment on ita's obituary. It feels like way too little to say about her and what she meant to us. It also feels like an ending that I am not yet ready to acknowledge. Shit.

::goes away to bawl a little::

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I really don't need any things, but it would be nice to have something small, as a talisman. A piece of unvaluable jewelry? A pencil?
