See, I vaguely remember something about that. This is that larger than life thing and it is more pronounced when you start piecing together aspects of her life as a whole.

Yeah, I think I'm mostly stuck in denial. It's such an odd feeling, to know that she's gone, and yet to also be able to go back and see her words anytime I want. Her words were how I knew her, and they're still there.
That's where I am.
I've really appreciated reading the couple of links over to O-Deck. There's something really touching about knowing something of this other group of people who had such appreciation and admiration for ita. There are so many of those in the world that I'll never see; it's nice to see this one.
That picture of her with Colin's Little Man just killed me again- they had such a beautiful friendship.

I remember watching the awful US Coupling because her friend Colin was in it. And mailing her something to his address (a dozen years ago or so) because she was house sitting or something. Think it was the garnet bracelet that resembled something she'd been admiring. Don't even remember where the bracelet originally came from.

Yes! And I told her to tell him he was the only good thing about it (and that he was way hotter than his UK counterpart, though I doubt she told him that).

We've collected just under 7k for ita's family.
The money will be used to pay for their lodging and misc. travel and funeral expenses, memorial brunch, and obituary.
We're going to pack up her apartment this weekend.
The family would like to start a scholarship fund in her name in Jamaica, where education $$ will go a long way.
Just let us know if you need more, Allyson. I would like to donate more for a scholarship fund- I love the idea of it being in Jamaica
