Illyria: Wesley's dead. I'm feeling grief for him. I can't seem to control it. I wish to do more violence. Spike: Well, wishes just happen to be horses today.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I'm back online after running away around noon. I'm not up to catching up in the other threads, I cried all morning. I cried for ita and for the passing of others I haven't been able to cry for. Not about me. Moving on.

I know the creation of a separate SPN thread was drama, but I'm glad show got its own place. ita never held back here (not that she held back anywhere) and gave me/us new insights to consider.

She was my Secret Santa last year (2013) and one of my gifts was an SPN hex bag. When it arrived, she hadn't yet revealed herself. She waited until she had completed a portrait of the Tenth Doctor.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I've been rereading old conversations from the second Show thread, remembering our fic peeving and rec'ing, actually rereading some of those stories because D/C is where we connected, me begging her to read this one because I wanted her to share my love for it (or tear it apart, didn't matter, just wanted to share it). I don't think she ever did.

"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

Part of the reason I got back into SPN was because of how much ita loved it. I'd given up part way into the first season, but seeing how much love she gave the show inspired me to give it another chance. Now it's one of my favorites.

When I watch the show, I'll imagine ita watching too.

There has been an all day SPN marathon on TNT today. I'm choosing to think it is in ita's honor. If it is a regularly scheduled thing, I don't want to know.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

That's really cool, Suzi.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Idle triva: We're rewatching Criminal Minds from the early seasons, and Travis Aaron Wade (Cole) turned up as one of a trio of thrill-killers in last night's episode.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Between the holidays, lack of new episodes, and various other distractions I managed to forget about the new SPN thread for a couple of weeks. Even though I've been looking back at ita's posts in fond remembrance all week, running across a couple of new-to-me ones today was a shock. It's as if she's giving Dean/Cas fic recs from beyond the grave.

I know, Matt. I've stumbled into a few threads I was behind on. It's kind of, you light up for a second--the rumors were *false!*--before reality hits. Again.

There's a SPN con in SF this weekend. If...any SFistas were interested.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

It's going to be so odd watching the show from now on. I think there's always going to be part of me wondering "what would ita have thought of this?"
