That was sadly lacking in competency porn all around. I do enjoy Amara. I do not enjoy Ketch and Rowena and even less if they are KetchandRowena.

One town full of ghosts, even all the ghosts in hell or whatever, seems pretty low stakes for going head to head with God. And we have seen the "our lives are predetermined" crisis before.

And, come on, last week Sam runs out of ammo and this week Dean does? Do better, writers.

Hey folks, heeeyyy. Longtime member, first- time-in-yonks poster. (My little, embarrassed to be away so long, joke there.)

I had not even conceived of the idea that Sam could be made God, but now that you mention it, that seems nearly inevitable.

A full-on Good Omens buddy future:

Dean is the head Reaper and Sam is God. They fight crime! (existential and otherwise)

Lazy, and yet so, very likely.

It just feels like a culmination of pretty much everything they've experienced. Including the going eeeevviiil option, since God isn't anyone's favorite...ever...in that Universe.

For some reason I keep flashing on hippie!Cas communing with butterflies et al. So yeah, still an angel, but maybe with a St Francis flair? That would be an interesting new trinity.
