Y'all know I'm not a big picture person, but I'm duck-on-a-junebug with minutia. Monkey! Monkey that used to sit on the Roadhouse bar! Squirrel! Squirrel with beer bottle and moosehead on the wall, and *Rocky's* Bar--aw, Moose and Squirrel! "Got this nice IPA from Austin," coasters from FBBCo. Nice plug, there, Jensen. Pamela! Hi, Pamela, hi! (Dinwiddie apparently goes not by Traci but by "Thunderbird" now. Huh.)
And that's just the first 30 seconds of the ep.
"Put Michael in the trunk."
"Garth's in the trunk."
Beat. "It's a big trunk."
And really, anytime Lisa Berry's on my screen is a pretty damn good time.
Yes, to all that! I didn't quite make the "Rocky" connection - cute
"It's a big trunk" made me laugh.
Catching up before Lebanon. Damaged Goods coulda used 90% less Nick, other than that a pretty good episode
Started watching Prophet and Loss and OH NO MORE NICK?!?! Whyyyyyyyy
I could use 100% less Eugenie Whoever and Brad Buckner as a writing team. In their episodes, if Dean's not having SexyTimes, he's being made more woobie than has ever woobied. Meh.
The whole thing was too spot on for me to really enjoy. Dean wants to teach Sam how to let go? Let's use Donatello! Dean needs to learn sometimes all hope is not lost? Let's have Cas save Donatello! Blech.
But I secretly really enjoyed Dean's reminiscing (painful as it was), because I can't resist stuff about their childhood. And the camera was really loving both Jensen and Jared this week, and Jared's hair in particular.
Yeah, the reminiscing was the best. I also liked Sam reminding Dean that they are Team Free Will, they don't do fate. I forget what happened with Donatello, so all that had very little impact on me, but the question of the next prophet maybe getting sort of called but not really and that being terrible was interesting.
I am excited for Lebanon. I hope it doesn't suck.
ME TOO. But most of me knows I will love it just for the reunion aspect.
I'm fairly certain of that, yes.
Only caught the last 15 minutes because of work, and still managed to sob through the end. Not a little of it was for ita.
Will watch the whole thing tomorrow, of course. It really is sort of amazing that we used to be in here, waiting for renewal news so desperately, and here we are at 300.
On my God, my DVR hates me! I was watching and getting all teary-eyed along with everyone on screen, and for some reason as soon as John hugged Sam and Dean and said he was proud of them, it bounced out of the recording as if it had reached the end. If it weren't the middle of the night I would have screamed. Fortunately I was able to start over and fast-forward to the last five minutes.
