What is even happening?

Who's watching the season 14 premiere tonight?

Is this still a watch-live show for people, or is it a DVR-delay show?

I'm not sure how I feel about this Michael business yet, but I'm excited the show is back.

Because books.

I will watch it tonight when I get home from work -- I don't get home till 9:15 Thursday night, and I don't have a DVR. Otherwise I would totally be watching in real time! I am that fan, I guess.

I don't know how I feel about Michael, except that Dean is ON FIRE clothed as him. And that's just from the peek at the end of last season.

Yeah he is.

I still don't know how I feel about the Michael storyline. I am giving it a few episodes.

Not mad at the Michael storyline so far. It's kinda weird that Sam has all these people to manage and shepherd. An interesting development, potentially. We'll see.

I am annoyed that Pellegrino is still around.

I don't really watch anything live anymore.

Because books.

I watched after work last night while I was high and my primary thoughts were:

SAM BEARD SO SO SO GOOD

DEAN/MICHAEL OMG SO HOT (although I think he needs to decide on his speech pattern, because it was a little all over the place)

Bobby/Mary? Really? Okay, I guess?

Danneel is prettier with less makeup on, but I'm glad Sister Jo is back. They could have some fun there. (The chemistry between her and Jensen also got momentarily watch from the hall for me, because he was looking at her like he was literally going to gobble her up at one point.)

NICK! That was a surprise, and I'm kind of pleased by it in terms of the character coming back.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm so, so tired of Lucifer, but I've always felt kind of bad for Nick, since he got gaslighted into saying 'yes.'

We got some resolution with Meg Masters' ghost, after the demon who possessed her (without permission--run of the mill demons just grab and run, still) moved on to other hosts. It always bugged me they still called that demon "Meg." Like poor old "Stan," the meatsuit Azazel rode for two years, or however long. I still kind of chuckle with Dean standing over poor old Stan (the name patch on his mechanic's coverall), "That's for our mom, bitch."

So anyway, I'm kind of interested in Nick's take on the past...eight years that he's been ferrying Lucifer around. But I suspect he's been kept around because (according to the lore) a tiny particle of the possessing angel remains with the vessel even after the angel is kicked out. And I'm guessing either Rowena or somebody else is going to, either purposefully or accidentally, riddle off a spell that will bring Lucifer back to his host. I hope not, but I think I've got that much of a read on one or some of the writers' Lucifer hobbyhorse.

I'm tired of Michael already. Sorry Jensen, I hope you're having fun with the role, but Mr. No gestures, no inflections, lack of all humanity is boring me to tears already. Christian "coatflap" Keyes was more interesting in the role. Entertain me, fergodsakes--I've certainly paid my loyalty dues.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Is everyone certain that Nick is really Nick? As opposed to Lucifer survived but lost his powers (temporarily) and is pretending to be Nick to buy time until his grace regrows?

Couldn't help but think this episode was an homage to Plei, because clearly that amulet (or the other amulet we didn't know about until later) needed smashing.

I thought Jensen was hot as Michael, but I"m glad he's back as Dean, at least for now.

Having Jody on really made me want Wayward Sisters to come to pass. Sigh.

What did you think Buffistas?

It's always good to see Jody. I'm hoping we'll see more of the Sisters with this double in the mix.

I like how Jack is developing. Still not sold on the whole Michael thing.

I thought I posted this last night, but I guess not. Hope I didn't put it in the wrong thread...

Really enjoyed this last episode. I'm not sure about Dean's checkered jacket, but other than that, very fun.
