"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I thought that it was interesting that the boy twin talked about how his mother taught him to seduce men, and none of the hunters batted an eye. Maybe (sure, maybe) I'm reading too much fanfic, but aren't hunters supposed to be a pretty homophobic bunch?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Noticed that too. Hunters can have layers?

I didn't find the Nazi one objectionable, just kind of silly. But mostly I kept expecting it to turn into a Grimm crossover.

I have been having some pretty angry feels about Mary. Who didn't ask to be in this situation, for sure. But her "I liked it better in heaven with the little boys you were rather than the men you've become" was kind of gutting. I know my reaction is coming from a bit of a woobie place, but damn woman. Way to rip their hearts out.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I think hunter homophobia is all fanon. There hasn't really been much canon about hunters as a group.

I have been appreciating that Mary gets to have feelings like that and isn't just Mother.

Because books.

Holy Winchester hotness, boys and girls. Semi-feral, survivor-mode Winchesters are the best.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Aw, man! I liked Billie. I mean, yeah, I agree with it but still.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I finally caught up on this season. I've been avoiding live TV since November and recently realized that included shows on my DVR, so I'm working my way through.

Anyway, watching them back to back to back is quite the roller coaster ride and gut wrenching and damn! I think my favorite was the Asa episode for many of the reasons already noted above.

Art Crawl!!!

Yes - I enjoyed last season much more when I did a binge catch up before this season started.

Because books.

Regarding Dean: CLASSIC. Automatic classic. Jensen is a total sport. And both he and Jared were really great in this episode -- Sam's anguish, and Dean's lighthearted goofiness/anguish. (Dean in the mirror -- my god.)

Yes, Dean in the mirror was great.

Although I found it odd that Rowena would just give up the book. OTOH, she knows that they'd come after her and she's seen too many other folks not survive that.

Don't usually watch broadcast tv in the morning, but was checking on snow closing. JDM is co hosting Live with Kelly. He's a goofball.
