The thing I loved absolute best--even more than Dean admitting maybe he's not up to dealing with the darkness on his own and Sam telling him "I've got this," which was very, very nice, was Dean's reaction after *finally* winning RPS. Nicely acted, Jensen!
Supernatural 3: Family don't end with blood
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
I'm here, Amy! I just keep unsubscribing when a new episode airs and then resubscribing when I catch up (which can take a while, alas). I watched yesterday which seemed kind of appropriate for Unattached Drifter Christmas.
Those were both great, Beverly. I've been really enjoying this episode. I don't even hate the Darkness stuff - I don't love it, I can't make sense of the theology, but I don't hate it as much as the Crowley and Fiona show. As long as Fiona stays dead I'll be pretty happy. I do hope Lucifer gets more interesting, or Castiel fights back from inside or something. But good brotherly moments and some nice stuff with women characters.
Unrelated:
Aw. Nice.
Fiona
Rowena, do you mean?
We get to see Dean in vintage gear again! ::claps:: Oh, hello, sailor.
And I don't know, I sort of like Misha's Lucifer -- although I think he's doing less Lucifer than Mark Pellegrino's Lucifer, if that makes sense.
I think it's just a treat to see him not being clueless, earnest Cas for a while.
Are we sure the Ark fragment is actually used up rather than just not functioning because it's the freaking Devil that's trying to activate it?
Or maybe it needs some time to recharge.
And is anyone else worried about Lucifer having a spell that allows him to go through warding?
Rowena, do you mean?
Can I blame that on autocorrect? Probably a stretch. Clearly I dislike the character too much to be able to get her name right.
he's doing less Lucifer than Mark Pellegrino's Lucifer
That absolutely makes sense to me, and also seems like an appropriate choice. I really enjoyed Misha playing Lucifer pretending to be Cas and not really doing a great job. That was fun.
And is anyone else worried about Lucifer having a spell that allows him to go through warding?
I hadn't put that together, but now I am.
Everyone agrees it's the former ring girl that Sam had a crush on who's responsible for the killings, right?
Edit: Not as predictable as I'd thought. I'm mystified by the murders though, what was the demon getting out of those?
Ugggghhhhh! Why would they put The Miz on my show? Why?!
Megalyn Echikunwoke (Cassie, in Route 666) is the new Vixen on Arrow.
And Aleks Paunovic (Gunner Lawless, from 11.15), also appeared in earlier seasons, as "Boyden's friend" in Crossroad Blues, and as "Skinwalker #2" in All Dogs Go To Heaven.
For those playing, "It's that guy!" Or, you know, "that girl."
