Supernatural 3: Family don't end with blood
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
There was a Salute to SPN con in San Francisco last weekend. Video's up on YT if'n you want to prospect for it.
This weekend the con was in Houston, and we got a taste of Sam and Dean in Season 37.
Let me know if you can't see that and I'll try and snag it another way.
I know what Papi Ackles sounds like. I'm really curious about how Mr. P sounds.
Oh, I'm one of those girls, you talk scientific to me, or any foreign language, and I get all buttery in my nethers.
I thought Jensen's eyes were officially fanfiction green.

Well sure, if it suited the character. But it didn't. It came across as just the author paging through a thesaurus looking for big words to describe their wedding kiss.
I ran across a story (it might have been J2) and the author kept using digits instead of fingers. Not alternating between but every time, "his digits explored the younger man's mouth" or "he moaned around the digits in his mouth" and stuff like that. I tried mentally subsitituting fingers but then I got bored and wandered off for something better.
Dark Charlie was sort of hot. But the anguish on both her and Dean's face at the end was heartbreaking.
I wish ita had been able to see Charlie fight like that. I have no idea whether she was good or bad, but ita would have known.
Next week looks promising.
Genesis singers, really?
I guess it's a way to break their classic rock MO.
I have to say that I'm never best pleased when an arc is told through the MOTW. Being it subtle, blatant, whether the characters are aware of the parallels or not. I'm sure there's time constraint reason for doing so, but it still bugs.
That said, I wonder if it's telling or plot contrivance that DoNoWrong!Charlie being able to kill Clive? says something important about the difference between and limitations of Douche! and NotADouche! Charlie. Is there a difference between calling Dark!Charlie dark, and calling her Charlie's id. Does id=dark, and what does lack of id leave the rest of the person. And then how does that relate to Dean's situation where his darkness isn't his inner self, or so I thought --or maybe I'm thinking of when the Dark!Dean was actually Dean in demon form.
I'm sure, in the end, it's whatever the writer's will need it to be.
The Gabriel and Collins line made me laugh. Sammy opts for prog rock, why not?
I liked this episode a lot, which made me very sad. Especially Charlie giving Baby a flat tire and then stealing her.
Just getting glimpses of Oz is about how I want that, I think.
I'm kind of doubtful about next week, but I think I was kind of doubtful about this week from the preview, so I'll reserve judgment.

How did I completely miss this? I watched and yet don't remember this at all.
It was pretty early and had a throwaway delivery.
When Charlie was saying that Dean had something that Cain didn't, I thought she was going to say "Me". So her declaration of them being Winchesters felt odd, especially since being "them" didn't seem to be much of a good luck charm beyond being tortured but surviving again and again . . . so I guess it was accurate.
Knew she wasn't our Charlie almost immediately, and was so relieved that there was a reason why not. I think I would have sworn off the show if they had asked me to believe she underwent some experience in Oz to turn her into that person. So so relieved.
I wish ita were here to tell me whether the knife twirling was a silly TV affectation or not.
Well, I wish ita was here.
Man, that still keeps hitting me.
