Supernatural 3: Family don't end with blood
[NAFDA]. This is where we talk about the CW series Supernatural! Anything that's aired in the US on TV (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though — if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Show is marathoning on TNT again today. Weird.
Last night was ... I don't know. I think I was glad I didn't get choked up, but the episode itself seemed blah. Maybe it was a matter of perspective, though.
The non-blah parts were definitely BAMF!Dean, and the punk angel.
The first time I ever watched SPN with Buffistas was at Atlanta F2F, crowded into Ginger's den watching WINASNB. Two weeks later, I met Plei for the first time. She had recorded AHBL I and we watched that, then AHBL 2 as it aired. I don't think either of us spoke, except when Lily was trying to leave cold oak and wandering through the woods, Plei muttered, "It's the *ferny* part of South Dakota."
Man, good times, good times.

That's doubleplus hot, ita would approve, and how the FUCK do they not recognize her? DUDE, DO THESE PEOPLE NOT WATCH SUPERNATURAL?????
Ahem.
Yeah, that's a happy place.
Also, MUSCLES.
That too.
You know what? I had managed to almost forget how hot I find her. Possibly the hottest woman who ever appeared on Supernatural.
the episode itself seemed blah
Metatron continues to bore me every minute he appears on screen. Maybe the character would be more bearable if he were acted by a different squirrely actor, but as things stand I am so very, very tired of Curtis Armstrong.
I was pretty bored with the episode too. I seriously dislike Metatron and Crowley's mom, and Cas' "daughter" doesn't do much for me either.
Dean was looking mighty hot though.
With you about Metatron. I do think writing plays a part though, he's just one facet of the continual process on the show where anything that was once majestic or otherworldly gets ground down to human-scaled, tawdry and boring. See also: demons, angels, leviathans, reapers, and the afterlife in general. So far Death himself has managed to avoid it, but there's still at least a season and a half to go.
Notice how they forgot that angels' vessels were virtually indestructible to anything other than forces brought to bear by another such being? In earlier seasons Dean wouldn't have been able to hurt a run-of-the-mill demon by punching it, let alone an angel.
I love CrowleyMom's accent, but am similarly bored with that character. I just don't see the point of her.
As for Metatron, in the beginning, I thought Curtis Armstrong was great but the character is so poorly written, and the 'persona' is so static, there is no development to find interesting.
