Goodbye and Good Riddance 2014: so long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, good bye...

Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Thanksgivukkahmas, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering.

Buh bye, 2014.

Punishingly Intricate

Oh my gosh, so many presents and mysterious cards and return addresses (including msbelle's who I'm pretty sure is just a helper) but no clue as to who my gifter is! 3 little Kahlua coffees, a sweet little lavender soap, sweet little socks that say "you're beautiful, don't change", a wood animal magne5 craft kit, jar of Texas salsa, bottle of Texas Gold bbq sauce, and a first novel, a mystery by M.P. Cooley who I feel like I should know?? So mystery!!!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Not a helper it was me, I forgot a note. The Texas food shod be the giveaway. MP Cooley used to post here. We went to college together and that is her first novel.

I am really glad the bottles did not break.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was gonna say -- that sounded like a pretty msbelle selection!

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

According to the Israeli post office, the package has been in the U.S. since December 21st. So... I guess my giftee should receive it any day now.

(my gift will never be anonymous. They're asking me to put my name and address on the mail).

Woe to the fucking wicked.

My package from Jesse arrived!

She sent me a "meh." mug, which is fantastic, and some super-soft and pretty sock yarn!

And...something that was probably edible in a bag that the dogs (though, let's be real. The Rosie Dog) decided that they/she needed to get first crack at in the 4 hours I was out. sigh.

And pretty purple ornaments and dark chocolate kisses!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Aw! It was nuts from my local fancy nut store.

Were there macadamia nuts in the mix, Jesse?

If so, Debet, keep a close eye out. Any other nuts are fine. Just in case, info from the Merck manual.

Not macadamia. I think almonds? Possibly with chocolate in the coating, but it would just be a little.

smonster, I love that the tea and the switch cover come from friends. That gives it all that much more of a warm glow.

I have not yet given Cagney the treats. We are first working through a bag of green tripe chews from our local healthfood store. All my research tells me they are uber healthy but holy sweet weeping Lassie, those things smell like death. Cagney lurves them, of course, but peeEWpy. No kisses for me for a while.

My year end plans for mass cleaning and distributing of cluttery type things has hit a major snag. All I want to do is nap!!
