Goodbye and Good Riddance 2014: so long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, good bye...
Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Thanksgivukkahmas, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering.
Buh bye, 2014.
Oh! My office just told me I have a package that arrived from Chicago!
My santee's gift is on its way!
Okay usually I am a hold off until the 25th person but this year I just could not. And have been rewarded for my weakness with cookies!
And monkey candy jewelry! (Dare I say, too much candy...) and a travel mug to feed my habit and a book I've been dying to read. And did I mention cookies!
Extrapolating from the address, It appears to be from a Mathy Jewish Santa (don't tell that lady on your f-list). That or Santa's getting sneaky...
Photographic evidence:
Did your gift technically Little Drummer Boy you?
Also, MONKEY CANDY!
I love seeing/reading about everyone's presents, even though I can't get my act together enough to participate.
It did not! The card specifically said so. I totally thought I'd been LDB-rolled.
Pictures! I want to bite the peanut butter cookie. Beautiful package.
I am in receipt of my package, but am trying to hold off. I'll try to wait until Christmas morning. I may not be able to.....
Santee, there will be a package, but it won't be there by Christmas, sorry.

It's option 2. I've been told to point out that there is a note in the travel mug.
Hah! I figured as much. I was going to feel really bad if you'd gone out and bought Santa paper on my behalf.
And oops. I expect I'd have found that note before I hit the road for TL, or else had some very fibrous coffee on the road. The answer is dark, unflavored and I use a Melita so ground for paper cone is best. Other than that I'm easy.
And also delighted, and thankful. Did I mention that?
