I still find it weird that red has come to mean conservative instead of communist.
My local returns are looking okay so far, but it's early.

Well, Pennsylvania has a new governor. So that's something. First sitting governor to lose an election in PA in 44 years.
Hey, yeah, PA went blue. Didn't expect that.
Ohio reelected its giant bag of dicks of a governor and that shambling horror of an attorney general, neither of which, unfortunately, is surprising. t edit And, of course, Boehner, which is also unsurprising (if nauseating).
Pretty sure every single candidate I voted for lost. OTOH, all the ballot issues I voted for passed, which is pretty damn important, because agencies and services that sorely need funding will continue to get it. Plus one of our landmarks won't collapse, which is nice.
People have been really pissed at Corbett.
msbelle, I think it's the last one, more or less. Seriously, bummed. I put time and money in and it looks like I could've just gotten stoned and eaten cheetos.
That sucks, erika. Thank you for putting in the work.
As to why Obama is still so unpopular: Maybe it is that every time we get out of one fucking war, we get into another. And that the Democrats were taking victory laps about the economy when lots of people were still out of work, many people in real terms are continuing to see drops in household incomes, and just about nobody has seen a raise in real dollars.
I've been playing Schroedinger's Vote Box all night, but at some point I had to rejoin reality. Feh.
I really want to crawl back into bed and go back to dream land, but off to work I go. It is all just so discouraging.
