Mmmmm, books. Mine are in storage. I didn't move them back to Delray because I knew it was temporary and I seriously limited what came here.
Worked at the office all day yesterday. DH peeled a crazy quantity of mangoes that I must do stuff with today.
That will be an adventure!
My sister: Gosh, why are books so darn heavy? Me: They're TREES.
Hee.
So I just learned that my back porch is too far for the wi-fi to work with any reliability. That's a shame. It is as far away as possible, while still being in the house -- the router is above the front porch. Ah well.
Can you make of your phone a hot spot?
That's too bad, Jesse. You can bridge or extend or something if you really want to, of course. Or you can embrace the remote unconnectedness of your back porch and keep it as a refuge when you want to get away from the internet. Some people like that, I understand.
That sounds like an excellent adventure, Theo. Party on!
Mmm, mangoes.
Hooray for people sleeping in beds and going for runs as they wished!
As for me, I need to eat something, should probably move some dishes around so the dishwasher can work while I am out, and then I have to get to the pool. If I don't go in the morning it gets harder and harder to make myself go as the day goes on. And once I am out I'd better go grocery shopping. Plan A.
Get ready for a lot of that today, because, as we all know, posting makes it happen.
I'm tired already.
Sounds worth getting tired. Have fun!
Timelies all!
Only thing on my agenda(aside from groceries) is my monthly trip to Beyond Comics.

Yeah, I mean I
guess
there are other things to do! And also I have a smartphone.
So for breakfast I tried that thing where you cut a hole out of a piece of bread and fry the bread with an
egg
cracked in the hole (and fry the piece you cut out separately, of course, because what are you gonna do,
not
fry and eat some extra bread?) because I've never had that before. Pretty tasty! Fried bread is a little more delicious than toast. I wonder why - I'd've thunk bread+butter+heat would produce practically identical results. The browning of the butter in the pan, perhaps? A little extra burninating?
Oooh -- I did that for a while, but have gotten out of the habit of sliced bread. So delicious! And I think there's something about the butter getting more into the bread in the pan vs out of the toaster. Also the browning, yeah.
