It's also a football weekend. The county rescheduled trick-or-treating for Thursday, because they think it'll be too dangerous on Friday, with all the extra cars on the roads for the football game.

When mine started flashing green instead of a showing a steady green, I wanted to know what that meant. It was hard to read the model number, but once I got that I was able to Google the user's guide.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.
Seems the extra-sensitive alarm was set off by the neighbor's woodsmoke. I got it to stop screeching by closing all the windows, turning on the house fan, and standing under it waving a magazine. This will not do; I may have to replace it with a more reasonable model if I can't have windows open when a neighbor has a fire going.
