My BFF is going through some similar stuff with her almost-17-year-old daughter. It's maddening and baffling to watch, and it's not even my kid. She won't do her schoolwork, won't do any chores, refuses to even consider learning to drive, has no interest in college or a job, and is planning to never move out so her mom can take care of her forever. I don't even know what this kid is going to do with herself.

See, and this is why I sometimes boggled at my parents when they acted like we had disappointed them. Like, all three of your children graduated college and are self-supporting, and are not on drugs or in jail. Isn't that a win??

I heard rumblings about something going on late in the afternoon, but didn't know it was this! (We have known the CEO was stepping down for a while.)

Halloween costumes: me as Fight Club Pam (from Archer) and Tim as Lana.

(My "costume" is the LAZIEST EVER. I admit it. But Tim nailed his.) And no one at the party we were at was familiar with Archer, so everyone asked me if I hurt my hands.
