So, yesterday's incident is today's paranoia. A single report of a guy with a rifle has Halifax in lockdown, including me. I'm well away from the area where the guy was reported, so I'm not worried at all.

Y'all, I have no motivation today. I don't think that's going to work as a reason for why I haven't returned my articles. Bah. (Also fighting a migraine because the weather keeps changing fairly dramatically. It's going to be a gorgeous weekend, in the 60s and low 70s, but my head is unhappy about the change.)
One more thing: did y'all know that Pandora has several Halloween stations? Good stuff! (They were playing it at the studio when I showed up for the photo shoot yesterday; it was something from the RHPS soundtrack, and I thought, hey, these folks are cool as hell! And then the next song was from The Nightmare Before Christmas, so I asked them if it was a mix CD or what, and they told me it was a Pandora station. Seasonally festive!)
