Aren't they something. They're like butterflies, or little pieces of wrapping paper blowing around.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Wait, the Mike Rowe show is on already? Why did I not know this?

There have been two episodes already! It's on CNN tonight at 9pm Eastern, after Anderson Cooper. Set your DVR!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

As anxiety dreams go, Calli, that's an interesting one. Now I want to add axolotl keeping to my progression path.

Heh. Turns out there's a song called the Anxious Axolotl Rag. [link]

He has a bunch of people from Dirty Jobs, I can't remember if Barskey is there or not. Somewhere, maybe not on the show, maybe on FB? he listed who was still with him and who wasn't, and where they were.

Strix, may Cosmo come home soon.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

All I really bought was an aviator cap and goggles. I've got a jacket that looks a lot like one that she wore, and I'll probably just wear jeans with it, unless I really get up the motivation to make pants like the ones she wore.

I don't know where one would go to buy jodhpurs, but a light colored scarf will help with the costume.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

It's so great when I have a meeting with my manager to say hey btw I saved $X million dollars this week already and then find out that we're going ahead with making me do the job I don't want to do.

I have one more thing I'm going to investigate that's a long shot, and then I have to figure out if I'm leaving the company or moving to the Bay Area. I guess that means I have to figure if there's anything in Chicago that I may want to try for, because if there isn't, that makes the decision easier.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's bullshit, shrift. I'm sorry.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

It would be the Bay Area's gain if it works that way, but I hope sanity prevails.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I was really trying to give Taylor Swift the benefit of the doubt, and she did get off a couple zingers and held onto her dignity well enough, but she seemed to be struggling to keep up.

To be fair, John Cleese was one of the people she was trying to keep up with, which I'm not sure is easy for anybody.
