I’m avoiding cleaning my apartment by editing photographs. I currently have 25 pictures queued up on Tumblr.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I am making dinner for a friend who is coming over to watch Downton. I am about halfway through prep and I am totally out of gas.
Timelies all!
Went to brunch with my folks and Gary's mom. Now doing laundry and catching up on stuff on the DVR.
After a false start this morning(Loki's fault,) I got to TJs and bought a tarp and have the last load of laundry in the wash.
It's very autumny out. Blustery, cool, leave definitely turning. And I have a headache.
I made a coffee cake to bring into work tomorrow. My genius thought was putting tin foil in the pan before baking, so it's easy to take out!
Smart!
All I want to do today is curl up on the couch, crochet, and watch TV. I have not worked out how I can justify that as a responsible choice. Dishes that need washing and clothes that need laundering are arguing against pretty strenuously.
In any case, have heritage pork shoulder in Rick Bayliss's carnitas sauce in the oven, and it smells really good.
So I'm watching Shark Tank and it's totally stressing me out about work! BAH. What happened on Friday is, a deal I've been working on for basically 10 months (since I started) essentially fell apart. They say it's just on hold, but the stuff they are concerned about isn't going to change anytime soon. And I think higher-ups at my job are inclined to make the situation worse, because they totally misread it and have an inflated sense of our importance. Ugh! Totally not my fault, totally won't rebound on me in any way, but really disappointing and shitty.
That's rough.
The carnitas came out delicious. I don't know what kind of pigs this heritage pork comes from, but they are tasty.
I was gonna say watching football is stressing me out, as it often does, but it just got a lot better.
Uh, not so much, now.
